VarmX is a clinical stage company, advancing VMX-C001 a modified recombinant human blood clotting Factor Xa that enables normal blood clotting, even in the presence of Factor Xa blood clotting inhibitors.
Our experienced and dedicated team is committed to leveraging VMX-C001’s unique mechanism of action to revolutionize the treatment of severe bleeding in patients on Factor Xa DOACs.
VarmX is preparing a comprehensive clinical program, including a Phase III trial in urgent, high-risk surgical procedures and a Phase II study in cardiac surgery. Founded in 2016, VarmX operates from offices in Leiden, The Netherlands, and Copenhagen, Denmark.

Role: Senior Project Manager / Project Director, CMC
Location: Copenhagen area preferred (hybrid remote/onsite)
Reports to: SVP, CMC Development & Project Management
As Senior Project Manager / Project Director, CMC, you will play a pivotal role in driving VarmX’s CMC development programmes through late-stage activities towards regulatory submission milestones.
You’ll lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with multiple external partners (including partners, CDMOs and service providers), and ensure all CMC activities—from process development to regulatory documentation—are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
This is a senior and highly visible role reporting directly to the SVP, CMC Development & Project Management.
